About
Cory LaPlante

Cory LaPlante

Cory has a wealth of experience leading organizations towards operational efficiency. He has worked in both the for profit and nonprofit sectors with businesses of many sizes. His passion is to help every client find ways to utilize systems and technology to create a better experience for themselves and the people they interact with.

Cory is a diehard Seattle sports fan, enjoys coaching baseball for his sons, and has been happily married to Denise for over 15 years. Cory received a dual undergraduate degree in Business Management and Economics from Whitworth University, followed by an MBA from the University of Colorado. In spite of his education, Cory may already be the slowest reader in the family. And he gets a little defensive if you bring it up.

Denise LaPlante

In her first career, Denise was an accounting manager and systems specialist for a nonprofit division responsible for over $100 million in annual transactions. She pivoted to a second full time career for a decade at home with two energetic boys, continuing to pursue volunteer organizational roles as time allowed. These days she combines skills from both realms as Administrative Director for LaPlante Management. She is responsible for HR, Accounting, and any related compliance issues for our team across the country and clients around the globe.

Denise loves staying active with Cory and their growing boys, especially when sharing in their passion for baseball. However, she will never turn down the opportunity to spend a few hours alone with a hot drink and good book.

Garrett Bowne

Garrett comes from a technology and customer service background, and brings his passion of both with him. After a career managing multiple platforms and wearing a lot of different hats in technology, being able to centralize those skills around a single platform with a unified goal excites him. He has been a Zendesk administrator for years, and now uses that knowledge to manage implementation and optimization projects for our clients.

Garrett enjoys all things outside, including mountain biking and hiking with his wife, Gabby, and their dog Daisy. You’ll probably find him tinkering in their fixer-upper house on any downtime that he has.

Londa Cabrera

Londa is a lifelong learner who tries to bring out the best in others. She is known for being flexible, resourceful, and a team player. Londa earned degrees in both Interpersonal Communication and Elementary Education and has had the opportunity to work with several international non-profit organizations over the years and also to teach 4th grade. While working as “Mom”, she also volunteered for a variety of organizations and continued to build and use her skills.

She challenges herself to learn new things, including technology. Londa loves data research and using logic to solve problems. She uses her skills and training to help companies analyze their data and create meaningful Zendesk reports and dashboards to drive organizational decisions.

When not working, Londa can often be found enjoying the outdoors with her family and friends: camping, riding bikes, hiking, skiing and maybe even snowshoeing. If she has free time at home you will probably find her baking, crafting or reading a good book. Londa has been married to Juan for more than 20 years and they have three boys, Stephen (married to Kelli), Phillip and Matthew and two grandchildren that she adores.

Ben Coleman

With a background that includes a B.A. in Biblical Studies, a B.S. in Business Administration- Accounting, and a Master of Accountancy degree, Ben never imagined he’d be configuring Zendesk for a living. Though most of his prior work experience went towards accounting and administrative tasks, he most enjoyed projects like process optimization, website development, data ETL and analysis, scripting, and integrations. So he was always made for this, we just had to convince him of it.

When not dreaming of what is possible to leverage with Zendesk, Ben serves as an administrator and professor of Biblical Studies at Fort Collins Bible College. He, his wife Holley, and daughter Niah most enjoy traveling, outdoor adventure activities, and board games. Living in Colorado is great, but they are convinced they need to get to somewhere with a beach on the ocean at least once during the colder months to “survive the winter.” We agree.

James Cunningham

James brings a rich technical background into his role with the team at LaPlante Management. He has an eager desire to serve clients with his experience as a creator, innovator, technologist and business leader.

After receiving a degree in computer science from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, James began his career with Hewlett-Packard in Colorado. The Lord has provided opportunities for James to be part of multiple technical business units, including a founding role within a successful software-as-a-service startup in Minnesota, which is now a major employer in his small hometown. Prior to joining LaPlante Management, James was VP of Technology with Wycliffe Bible Translators.

James cherishes his time with family, the majestic beauty of nature, the strategy at play within a game and the wonders that await in a good story. He and his wife, Marcey, are parents of four: Julia, Evan, Rebekah and Jack.

Maring Eberlein

Maring has a lifetime of customer support experience from working in her family’s small business in Alabama. Following the path of least resistance, she worked her way up on the support team of a tech company, where she was introduced to ticketing systems. After leading her team’s migration and implementation to Zendesk in 2019, she continued to grow in Zendesk expertise with the help of the LPM team, and eventually joined us!

Alongside this experience, the need for clear customer communication across all channels became an increasing priority. Maring decided to pursue content management full time in 2021, earning a UX Writing certification from UX Content Collective. She now works with our clients on content-specific projects like Help Center structure and article management, macros, automated messages from triggers/automations, and anything in between. She’s proud to really put that Communications degree to good use!

Matt Hein

Growing up in northern Wisconsin, Matt had an entrepreneurial family dynamic that encouraged a desire for continual learning.  After graduating with a degree in Business Management from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, Matt developed a 20+ year high performance track history within finance, marketing, and sales; providing a very unique well-rounded personality and skill set.

Matt has worked with Zendesk since 2020, including his time working for the company itself, earning the prestigious top performing Commercial Account Executive in his first year with the organization.

Over the years, time has become more valuable than anything, with Matt spending most of his free time with his wife (Jenifer) and four children (Sophia, Emma, Nolan, and Alyssa).  A general love of the outdoors finds all members of the “Hein sixpack” camping, hiking, and swimming throughout Wisconsin and the U.S. Sports continue to be a big focus of the family with volleyball, cross country, basketball, baseball and track dominating the recent kid’s landscape but the family still finds time for badminton, chess, golf, and ping pong.  Don’t tell the kids, but they are starting to win more that he likes to admit!

Kris Hennum

Kris is an experienced information technology professional who has been in the industry since 2014. With a strong background in Healthcare IT, he has worked on a variety of projects, including a federally funded project to provide free Covid-19 testing to at-risk populations across the US.

Beyond technical expertise, Kris is a strong communicator who enjoys working collaboratively with people from diverse backgrounds. With excellent customer service skills and a dedication to solving complex IT challenges, he is driven to make a positive impact on your business.

When he’s not at work, you can find Kris enjoying a hike in nature. If he’s not outside, he’s typically in his woodworking shop, or possibly in the kitchen baking some goodies for friends. If you still can’t find him, he’s probably chasing his toddler around.

Anthony Talcott

Anthony has been helping others find creative solutions for as long as he can remember. He has been able to continue this passion of helping each client achieve their business goals through creating exceptional user and back end experiences in Zendesk since 2020.

Anthony is a former competitive gymnast, enjoys an active lifestyle and nothing beats a good book on a rainy day in his opinion. As a self-taught jack of many trades Anthony is always searching for something new to learn or skills to perfect.

Emily Woodring

Emily was the youngest person to attend her college full-time at 15 years old, and she began her first job as a Help Desk Technician at a non-profit shortly after. She graduated with her B.S. in Anthropology from the University of Central Florida in 2016 but has continued to pursue her love of technology and problem solving in various positions, from working as IT Dispatcher and Account Manager at an MSP to providing advanced technical support for the world’s largest satellite owner & operator.

She was the first official employee of LaPlante Management and has thoroughly enjoyed growing with the company and using her Zendesk knowledge to help other businesses succeed. Though she now lives in Germany, she is still an honorary member of the team, and drops in to help us with the really tricky projects from time to time!

Emily is also an avid traveler with 36 countries under her belt. She thrives on new experiences and adventuring with her husband and two dogs, and while she can often be found hiking, camping, geocaching, or horseback riding, she will never say no to a weekend at home playing video games with her husband (and usually beating him).
